In this writing class we will utilizes a formula that helps students write a clear paragraph that includes a topic sentence, supporting details and a closing. Students will use a graphic organizer to help each child quickly and easily learn the three sections of a well constructed paragraph.

Spark your child's love for creative writing! This class encourages students to create stories to master creative writing, paragraph structure, sensory details, and transition words.

In this exciting class students will be paired with a child from another country. They will correspond weekly and learn about different cultures and areas in the world.

Reading is always more fun in a book club discussing the book with friends! In this book club, students will read their book independently. During the book club class, we will discuss the book allowing them to share their opinions and thoughts. Students will engage in reading comprehension questions including main idea, inferencing, character analysis, sequence of events, author purpose, and more.

Twice a Week

During this class we will play interactive games to help us remember new vocabulary words each week, plus practice our public speaking skills by incorporating the new words in our conversations using speech prompts.
